Physical and Chemical Properties

The pure product is a white long columnar crystal or light yellow loose powder. Its melting point is 189-191. It is soluable in many organic solvents such as 2-methyl-formamide, 2-methyl vanadous, pyridine, ethyl and methanol, but it is hard to dissolve in water, the original material is a light brown powder with stable chemical property.

Toxicity

Oral dosage for mouse:LD50 3180-6200mg/Kg; For rats:3160-8250mg/kg. No negative effect on rats with 0.25mg/kg feed a year.

Application

It is mainly used to prevent and cure plant bacteroidl disease, especially effective when used to treat ulcer of orange.
